The heavily worked surface, simplified form and strong silhouette give the piece a bold modernist character, while the expressive detailing captures the strength and presence of the horse.
Mounted on a substantial rectangular mahogany base. Indistinctly signed by the sculptor and dated 2002 to the reverse.
